Hello, World

This is the first post on the Denful blog.

For a long time these libraries lived under my github.com/vic profile, and the writing about them lived in scattered READMEs. Denful is a community now, vic is just an small portion of it, so the writing should live somewhere shared. That is what this blog is for.

What goes here

Whatever is worth sharing. A release and why it matters. How gen* libraries can enable other Nix tooling besides Den. A pattern in Nix that took us too long to find. Notes from building dnx. Short is fine, technical is welcome, anything that helps Nix people.

Who can write

If you build Denful, this is yours too. This space is for anyone who has contributed: open a post and say what you are thinking about. New contributors are just as welcome, and you do not need permission.

How to add a post

Create a file at src/content/docs/blog/your-title.mdx with frontmatter:

Then write in plain Markdown, build locally to check it renders, and open a pull request.
